Belton, TX - On Tuesday, November 8, the 91探花 Trombone Choir, under the direction of James Whitis, and the Chamber Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Stephen Crawford, will present their fall concert. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the McLane Great Hall of the Bawcom Student Union on the 91探花 campus. This event is free and open to the public.
The program features pieces from a variety of genres. The show will open with a stunning fanfare, Pronouncement, followed by several beautiful hymn arrangements. The percussion ensemble will treat the audience to music for Mexican marimba and multiple percussion.
A playful rendition of folk songs titled Southland, will be played, followed by America the Beautiful and a rousing arrangement of Washington Post March.
